Evolution and Fusion
Conditions and costs at the Research Institute
The Research Institute houses both Evolution and Fusion. Evolution raises a pig up to the next quality level, while Fusion adds stars to the same pig.
What Evolution gives you is yours to discover. This wiki only lists the conditions and what you need.
Evolution Lab
- Pick an evolution path to train a piglet. Lots of tasks must be done during evolution. When the bar reaches 100%, the evolution succeeds.
- Only healthy adult pigs can be trained. A pig must be cleared of all bad statuses before it enters the incubator.
Evolution Path
- Only adult pigs with no bad statuses can be trained.
- Once you pick an evolution path, it can't be changed, and the pig can't be taken back during evolution. Choose carefully!

Fusion
- Only Purple or higher Quality pigs can be fused.
- Fusion raises a pig's stars and adds some stat bonuses.
- Fusion adds all kinds of bonuses:
- [Farm Bonus] Raises farm income by a percentage
- [Sell Price] Raises the pig's selling price by a percentage
- [Evolution Discount] 1-3 stars: fewer Materials for evolution; 4-5 stars: fewer pigs used for evolution
- [Battle Aptitude] Raises Aptitude by a percentage when turned into a battle pig
- [Growth Rate] Raises how fast the pig gains weight by a percentage. Only for Meaty pigs
- [Explore Speed] Raises the pig's exploring speed by a percentage. Only for Explorer pigs
- [Matchmaking Bonus] Raises the odds of high Quality piglets by a percentage. Only for Matchmaker pigs
- At high stars, Fusion changes the pig's look or adds extra exploring speed.
- Fusion uses up 1 pig of the same name, boar or sow. Part of the used pig's weight is passed to the target pig.
