How matchmaking works, costs, pregnancy time and helper items
Matchmaking is the heart of the game. A newborn piglet can turn out higher quality than the pair, and sometimes something brand new shows up that you have never seen before. This wiki keeps quiet on purpose about which pair gives what, because finding new pigs yourself is the fun part. What it does tell you is how it works, what it costs and how long it takes.
We keep the results of matchmaking, mutation and Evolution a secret. Try lots of different pairs and swap what you find with friends in your village!
Matchmaking
- Both pigs must be adults for Matchmaking
- Matchmaking costs some Gold. The boar's owner gets 50% of the Gold the other side spent
- After Matchmaking, the pigs will have a little bundle of love. The piglet has a chance to mutate and get a higher Quality than both parents, but never more than one Quality above the higher parent.
- Every pig has its very own gene pool!

Ranges go from the lowest to the highest value among pigs of that quality.
Luck in matchmaking
The game builds up luck over time: the more often you matchmake high-quality pigs, the more your luck for a high-quality piglet grows, and some items and pig types help too. For the details, tap the help button on the in-game matchmaking screen.
Helper Items
- Mutation Potion: use on a pregnant sow to raise the piglet's mutation chance.
- Twin Potion: the sow will surely have twins.
- Growth Hormone: use on a piglet to cut its growing time a lot.
- Growth Shot: cuts a sow's pregnancy time a lot.
- Recovery Pill: cuts a boar's Matchmaking cooldown.
- Revive Potion: brings a dead pig back to life.
- Soul Potion: use on a friend's pig for a chance to turn it into a soul.
Matchmaking Center
- In the Matchmaking Center you can share your boars for villagers to match with. Shared boars are separate from the ones in the village and don't affect each other.
- Boars on Matchmaking cooldown can't be matched.
- Each shared slot can swap its shared boar once a day.
- When the matching boar leaves your farm, the boar slot info refreshes at midnight the next day.
